Tourism arrivals continue to trail 2025 despite strong weekly performance

Seychelles welcomed 5,350 visitors during Week 26 (June 22–28, 2026), bringing total arrivals for the year to 164,499, according to the latest figures from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). While weekly numbers were buoyed by strong demand from European markets, overall arrivals remain 14.1% lower than the same period in 2025, underscoring ongoing challenges for the tourism industry.
