Taxi operators meet minister on regulatory issues

The Minister for Transport, Ports & Civil Aviation chaired a meeting on Friday with representatives of the Airport and Port (Seychelles) Taxi Operators Association and the National Taxi Association of Seychelles.

The meeting provided an opportunity for both associations to raise key challenges affecting their operations at the airport and port.

As a next step, the associations will consult their members and submit proposals to the ministry. The ministry will then review the relevant policies and regulations to identify and address any loopholes, overlaps, or areas requiring clarification, with the aim of strengthening the overall regulatory framework.
