- Rovers U11s reach semifinals in France
The Rovers FC’s U-11 squad have returned to Seychelles after a successful 10-day training camp and tournament tour in France, where the club’s next generation of Elite Programme players faced 11 French teams, reached the semifinals of a 16-team international tournament and gained valuable experience both on and off the field.
The tour marked the first overseas football experience for the club’s talented 2015 generation, following in the footsteps of the highly successful 2012 group that later saw 19 players earn places in a Fédération Internationale de Football Association (Fifa)-funded scholarship programme in France.
