Former Minister Fonseka testifies at Montagne Posée prison riot inquiry
The former Minister for Internal Affairs, Errol Fonseka, was the sole witness to testify yesterday before the Commission of Inquiry into the Montagne Posée prison riot of December 5, 2024.
Mr Fonseka provided insights into his role as minister and his connections with the police, military, and prison authorities.
He emphasised that upon returning to Seychelles on December 7, 2024, two days after the riot, he went directly from the airport to the prison.
