Seychelles boosts summer tourism with airline comeback

Seychelles is set for a stronger summer tourism season as three major international airlines – Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Aeroflot – resume or expand services to the destination earlier than in previous years.

The return of these carriers, beginning this week with Qatar Airways on June 16 and Turkish Airlines on June 17, significantly enhances global connectivity and visitor access during the traditionally quieter summer months.

Qatar Airways is the first to resume operations, with four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays from June 16, 2026. The expanded schedule strengthens Seychelles’ links through Doha, offering convenient connections to more than 150 destinations worldwide.
