Gabriel leads VCDL podium sweep in demanding 61km road race
The challenging climb to La Misère View Point proved decisive as Jahdel Gabriel emerged victorious in Sunday's 61-kilometre road race organised by l’Union Cycliste des Seychelles, leading a dominant Vélo Club de l'Ouest performance that saw the club sweep the top three positions.
Starting at 7am from Stad Linite, Roche Caïman, the riders embarked on a demanding course that took them along Bois de Rose Avenue towards Persévérance before continuing through Anse Etoile, Glacis, Beau Vallon and Bel Ombre.
