Scoba ‘Clean-Up’ initiative highlights the importance of preserving nature trails
The Seychelles Challenge and Outward Bounds Association recently carried out a clean-up exercise across five of Mahé’s most well-known nature trails, namely Anse Major, Cap Ternay, Dan Bernard, Mare aux Cochons, and Tomasin.
The initiative saw volunteers collecting a considerable amount of waste left behind by trail users, restoring sections of these natural routes to a cleaner and more welcoming condition. The activity formed part of ongoing efforts to promote environmental responsibility and to safeguard the natural beauty of Seychelles’ outdoor spaces.
