Young creativity takes centre stage at ‘Artists on the Rise’ exhibition   |13 June 2026

Emerging Seychellois talents are being celebrated at the ‘Artists on the Rise’ exhibition, currently on display at the historic Kenwyn House in Victoria. The showcase provides a vital platform for young artists to present their work, gain exposure, and build confidence as they pursue their creative careers.

The initiative was launched with a clear purpose: to identify and support emerging talent while offering them meaningful opportunities to share their art with the public. It reflects a growing commitment to strengthening the local arts scene and encouraging young creators to step into professional spaces.

Among the participants is 20‑year‑old Maella Sauzier, exhibiting for the very first time. Presenting three pieces, she described the experience as a chance to explore new creative possibilities.
