Young entrepreneur turns passion for beauty into business success

At just 19 years old, Chelsea Fanchette is proving that age is no barrier to entrepreneurship. A second-year Business Management and Administration student at SBSA, Chelsea has successfully merged her passion for beauty with her entrepreneurial ambitions through her nail business, Seashells.

Operating as an independent nail technician, she has been running her business for over a year, steadily building a loyal clientele while balancing her studies.

“I have always been into the beauty industry,” Chelsea explained. “I used to do hair, but I was more passionate about nails. It’s more creative, in high demand, and it brings me joy to help women in Seychelles feel more confident.”
