“As we celebrate Africa Day, we recognise that women across Africa continue to demonstrate exceptional leadership, resilience, and vision – yet structural barriers still limit their full participation in decision‑making spaces. “The African Women Leaders Network (AWLN) exists to change this reality. As a pan‑African platform dedicated to advocating for, promoting, and advancing women’s leadership at all levels – political, economic, social, and community‑based – our network brings together women leaders, partners, and institutions across the continent to amplify women’s voices, influence policy, and build pathways for transformative leadership.
