Seychelles youth participate in PRJIO plenary session in Madagascar
The Parlement Régional des Jeunes de l’Indianocéanie (PRJIO) held its third Plenary Session in Madagascar from May 18–20, 2026, bringing together young representatives from across the Indian Ocean region for three days of dialogue, consultations, thematic debates, and resolution drafting.
Representing Seychelles were Camilla Cupidon, Fredo Dubel, Elgin Crea, and Fabien Jeanne.
The session opened with discussions on the governance of the Commission de l’Océan Indien (COI), where members received updates on ongoing initiatives, regional priorities, and areas of focus. These exchanges provided participants with a deeper understanding of the COI’s role in fostering cooperation and addressing shared challenges in the region.
