Young Entrepreneurs Club opens doors to future careers

Students of English River secondary school were encouraged to explore future career opportunities and develop an entrepreneurial mindset during the official launch of the school’s Young Entrepreneurs Club yesterday morning.

The launch coincided with the first-ever career fair to be held on the school’s premises.

The event, held under the theme ‘Your career journey starts here’, brought together organisations from both the public and private sectors to showcase career paths and opportunities available to students.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was performed by principal secretary for Human Resource Development Jean Alcindor, principal secretary for Education and Curriculum Dr Justin Zelime, chief executive of the Seychelles National Youth Council (SNYC) Michel Pierre, head teacher Marie-Anne Payet, and former head teacher Steve Hoareau.
