Mavericks held to 2-2 draw by Mont Buxton United
Mavericks dented their hopes of drawing level on points with Muccia in the race for a possible playoff spot for next season’s Championship football after coming from behind to secure a 2-2 draw with Mont Buxton United in a Seychelles Federation League One match at Stad Popiler on Wednesday evening.
A win would have seen Mavericks move level on 40 points with second-placed Muccia, with one match remaining for each side as the league nears its conclusion.
