The truth behind the fizz!

Fizzy drinks or soft drinks are popular beverages amongst children and the youth. In the past they were more commonly found in social settings like parties or when dining out. Nowadays they are the beverage of choice for most people – young or old.

It is unsurprising as fizzy drinks are everywhere. They are the main beverage in the beverage chiller in shops; they are heavily marketed via posters and other forms of media; and they come in an assortment of colours and flavours to appeal to consumers. They are also affordable which makes them easily accessible.
