Careers and further education agency approved by National Assembly
The National Assembly yesterday approved the Careers and Further Education Agency Bill, 2026, which seeks to establish an agency that will be responsible for careers development, further education and the administration of scholarships.

“The agency will manage a budget of over R200 million which necessitates the oversight of a board of governance, also taking into account that the agency will be responsible for over 900 students at any point in time,” Minister Pierre noted.
