STB bill flies through National Assembly
The Seychelles Tourism Board Bill 2026 has been approved by the National Assembly, a significant step in reestablishing the body, whose main role will be to market the destination.
The bill was approved with minor amendments by 18 members during yesterday’s sitting. Fifteen members abstained from the vote.
In presenting the bill, Minister for Tourism and Culture Amanda Bernstein said the bill “marks a decisive step in the way that we manage and promote the tourism sector, an economic sector that is very important for Seychelles.”
