Seychelles Boxing Federation endorsed as Socga member
Endorsed for membership by the executive board of World Boxing in January 2026, the Seychelles Boxing Federation became a member of the Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association last Saturday.
This was during the Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association’s (Socga) annual general meeting (AGM).
The Seychelles Boxing Federation (SBF) was endorsed for membership by the executive board of World Boxing in January 2026. To become a full member of World Boxing, the SBF will have to have its application ratified by vote at World Boxing’s next congress later this year. As an endorsed member, the SBF is not eligible to vote at congress 2026 but will be able to vote at the following year’s congress in 2027 and all those thereafter, provided its application for membership is ratified at congress 2026.
