Women entrepreneurs shine at bazaar celebrating International Women’s Day
Eight women entrepreneurs took centre stage at a vibrant bazaar hosted at Maison Marengo, Au Cap, on Saturday, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
The event, organised by the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus of the National Assembly, aimed to spotlight women in business while offering them a platform to connect with customers and grow their ventures.
Visitors browsed an eclectic mix of handmade goods, from jewellery crafted with wood, stainless steel, shells, beads and clay, to papier-mâché art, upcycled furniture made from tyres, and clothing from local brands.
