National Assembly staff review Administration Bill

The National Assembly on Monday hosted a seminar for its staff on the National Assembly Administration Bill.

The Bill seeks to strengthen the assembly’s institutional framework by formalising its administrative and financial autonomy. The current version of the Bill is an amalgamation of the work done on two previous versions of the Bill, which seeks to establish the autonomy of the National Assembly as the legislative arm of government.
