Sportsman Henriette, Sportswoman Payet honoured to be received by President Herminie
President Patrick Herminie yesterday welcomed Sportsman of the Year Rodney Henriette and Sportswoman of the Year Amandah Payet at State House, following their recent crowning as the country’s best athletes for the year 2025.
During the meeting held in the presence of Minister for Youth and Sports, Kalsey Belle, President Herminie urged the country’s top sporting achievers to embrace a greater national role as agents of positive change, highlighting the transformative power of sports in shaping disciplined, resilient, and purpose-driven citizens.
