Aliyaa Nicette, Michah Pragassen improve personal best times
Two promising young athletes, Aliyaa Nicette and Michah Pragassen, returned home on Monday after taking part in the Mauritius Youth Inter-City Athletics Competition, held on March 7-8, 2026.
Both athletes showcased their speed in the highly competitive and mixed senior and junior 100 metres and 200 metres events, which featured a large number of heats, 15 for males and 13 for females in each event. Due to the high number of heats, no finals were held for either category. The overall rankings were determined based on the results of the heats.
