30 women honoured for advancing peace and equality

Thirty women were recognised at the Women, Peace and Security awards ceremony held yesterday morning at L’Escale Resort Marina & Spa.

Organised by the Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Equality through its Family and Equality Department, the event marked International Women’s Day, celebrated annually on March 8.

Held under the theme ‘Rights, Justice, Action for All Women and Girls’, the ceremony celebrated outstanding contributions to advancing women’s rights, peace, and security in Seychelles.
