The Judiciary of Seychelles proudly joins the international community in commemorating International Women Judges Day, honouring the vital role women play in strengthening justice systems and advancing equal access to justice.

Observed annually on March 10, the day highlights the growing contributions of women in the judiciary and celebrates progress toward greater gender representation on the bench. This year’s theme, ‘Women Judges on the Bench and Beyond’, underscores both the responsibilities and the wider influence of women judges in upholding the rule of law and engaging with the communities they serve.
