Aliyaa Nicette, Michah Pragassen leave today to take part Mauritius Youth Inter-City Athletics Competition
Two young athletes, Aliyaa Nicette and Michah Pragassen, leave the country today for Mauritius to take part in the Mauritius Youth Inter-City Athletics Competition scheduled for March 7-8, 2026.
The two athletes, who are receiving sponsorship under the Olympic Solidarity programme, are preparing for the 2026 Summer Youth Olympics, which will be held in Senegal from October 31 to November 13, 2026. They were presented with their travel documents yesterday afternoon during a short ceremony at the Olympic House in Roche Caïman by the president of the Seychelles Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association (Socga), Alain Alcindor.
