The story of Seychelles tourism over the past five years is not merely one of recovery. It is a case study in resilience, reinvention, and quiet strategic consistency.

As 2025 closed, the country recorded an unprecedented 398,841 visitor arrivals, representing a robust 13 percent increase over 2024’s 352,762. This milestone is especially striking when placed against the backdrop of 2020, when arrivals fell to just 114,858. In the years since, the trajectory has been steady and deliberate: 182,849 in 2021, 332,068 in 2022, 350,879 in 2023, and now a leap beyond 398,000 in 2025. In just over half a decade, Seychelles has more than tripled its pandemic-era figures, not through chance, but through sustained effort across the sector.
