Muccia reclaim top spot with narrow victory over Baie Lazare

Following their relegation from the Seychelles Football Federation Championship League last season, Muccia, based in Persévérance, are showing clear intent to return to the second division.

On Wednesday at Stad Popiler, they edged past Baie Lazare 1-0 in a closely contested encounter.

The solitary goal came in the 25th minute, courtesy of Oliver Camille, and proved sufficient to secure all three points. This win propels Muccia back to the top of the League One table with 28 points from 12 matches, consisting of nine victories, one draw, and two defeats. The result underlines their determination to challenge for promotion and demonstrates a blend of defensive solidity and timely attacking precision.
