SeyFa representatives attend climate resilience workshop in Madagascar
The chairman of the Seychelles Farmers Association, André Sopha, and the association’s coordinator, Samanta Lesperance, recently participated in a regional workshop on climate resilience in farming held in Madagascar.
The workshop formed part of the Climate Alliance project, funded by the European Union under the leadership of AFDI, in collaboration with SACAU – a regional body based in South Africa of which the Seychelles Farmers Association (SeyFa) is a member. The event brought together representatives from SeyFa, the Falcons Association of Mauritius, and the Syndicat des Organisations Agricoles (SOA) of Madagascar to exchange ideas and best practices on climate-smart agriculture adaptable to regional contexts.
