Ministry of Health strengthens measures to detect arboviruses

The Ministry of Health is intensifying efforts to detect and prevent the spread of viruses in Seychelles, Public Health Commissioner Dr Jude Gedeon announced yesterday during a press conference at the Seychelles Hospital’s Red Roof building.

Dr Gedeon provided an update on several viruses of concern, including arboviruses such as chikungunya, dengue, and Zika, as well as Mpox and the Nipah virus.
