Public urged to rally behind local clubs
Members of the public are being urged to turn out in large numbers to support Seychelles’ local volleyball clubs during the 2026 Confederation of African Volleyball Zone 7 Club Championship, scheduled to take place from February 27 to March 7, 2026 at the Palais des Sports, Roche Caïman.
The call was made by Franky Hetimier, chairman of the Seychelles Volleyball Federation (SVF), who is also serving as head of the event’s local organising committee (LOC). He was speaking at a recent press conference held at the National Sports Council boardroom.
