Seychelles elevates travel with simple, secure, and seamless entry

South Africa recently initiated trials for its Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) system, reducing in-person embassy visits and simplifying border control. This adoption of a digital system is indicative of the broader global trend, with travellers increasingly expecting fast, seamless, and streamlined travel experiences.

These advanced systems significantly enhance security and streamline entry for visitors. As South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs (DHA) explains, “All of the Department’s services must become fully automated, digitised, and offered online at the fingertips of our clients, from the comfort of their own home.”
