Season’s greetings and a united path forward for Seychelles workers

“Season’s Greetings to all workers of Seychelles and their families, including our expatriate brothers and sisters.

“As the year draws to a close, the Seychelles Federation of Workers’ Unions extends its warmest greetings to every worker across our nation.

“This past year has once again underscored the vital role of workers in sustaining our economy, strengthening public services, and nurturing social cohesion. Despite ongoing challenges in the industrial relations landscape, workers have shown resilience, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to fairness, dignity, and justice in the workplace.

“Through collective strength, social dialogue, and solidarity, the labour movement continues to champion decent work, equitable treatment, and the protection of workers’ rights. These principles remain the foundation of a just and inclusive society.

“As we step into 2026, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing improved working conditions, fair remuneration, safe workplaces, and respectful labour relations. The new year must be one of renewed engagement, responsible partnership, and meaningful progress for all workers.

“May this festive season bring rest, reflection, and renewed strength. May the year ahead deliver unity, hope, and tangible gains for the working people of Seychelles.
