King’s Baton Relay for the Commonwealth Games
In 2025, Seychelles had the honor of hosting the King’s Baton for the Commonwealth Games, as it toured the nation ahead of the Games.
For the first time, each participating country was invited to decorate its own baton, which will be brought to the Games next year, making the event even more meaningful and personal.
The baton was received by President Patrick Herminie in a special ceremony, highlighting the nation’s pride in being part of the Commonwealth sporting community.
