Seychelles launches first international Beach Volleyball Exhibition Cup

• Elite athletes, island culture, and world-class scenery unite for a landmark sporting event

Seychelles entered a new era of international sports yesterday as the Paradise Arena in Roche Caïman hosted the opening of the Seychelles Beach Volleyball Exhibition Cup 2025.

The three-day event, taking place from December 12-14, was launched yesterday and marks the country’s first international beach volleyball exhibition, bringing top-ranked athletes from Europe, North America, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Oceania to one of the world’s most scenic island nations.

The inaugural competition features up to 16 elite matches daily, offering spectators powerful rallies, exceptional athleticism, and the unique atmosphere that accompanies world-class beach volleyball.

It is being jointly organised by the Arsu Ladies Volleyball Club and the Seychelles Volleyball Federation (SVF).
