Young Seychellois paddler shows perseverance at African Championships

 The Seychelles Canoe Association has praised the performance of junior athlete Eldrick Dailoo, who proudly represented the country at the recently-held 2025 CAC African Canoe Sprint Championships in Luanda, Angola.

The African Canoe Sprint Championships is the continent’s premier flatwater sprint event, bringing together junior, under-23 and senior athletes from across Africa.

The competition serves as a key developmental platform for emerging paddlers and routinely features strong delegations from countries such as Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia and Angola.

It offers young athletes exposure to high-level racing conditions while contributing to the overall growth of canoe sprint across the continent.
