City Ladies, Premium Spikers launch title defences with wins

City Ladies and Premium Spikers, the reigning champions of the women’s and men’s division one respectively, opened their 2025-26 SVF National League campaigns on Saturday at the Palais des Sports, Roche Caïman

On court A, both title-holders made emphatic starts, securing straight-sets victories that underlined their determination to defend their crowns and set the tone for the season ahead.

City Ladies were the first of the champions to step onto the court, delivering a commanding 3-0 victory over St Louis Bombers with set scores of 25-8, 25-15 and 25-7.

Their dominant performance set an early benchmark for the season.
