Commissioner Barbe accepts the donation from Mrs Romain

The Seychelles Petroleum Company has officially donated 40 bodycams together with their docking stations, valued at over R245,000, to the Seychelles Police Force.

In a brief but historic ceremony held yesterday afternoon at the Central Police headquarters, Victoria, the chief executive of the Seychelles Petroleum Company (Seypec), Sarah Romain, handed over the equipment to Commissioner of Police, Ted Barbe.
