La Digue homes soon to be connected to PUC’s central sewer system

The Public Utilities Corporation has confirmed that works are underway on La Digue to connect individual households to the island’s new centralised sewerage system.

In a press release issued yesterday, the Public Utilities Corporation (PUC) said this important milestone forms part of its wider programme to expand access to safe, reliable, and environmentally sound wastewater management services for the La Digue community.
