When customers pay the price for the bank’s mistakes: A Call for Accountability from MCB Seychelles

 

For days now, customers of the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) Seychelles have been receiving a troubling message: ‘A few transactions on other banks’ POS and ATM were not debited due to system disruption’.

At first glance, some clients may have ignored it, assuming they were not affected. But for many others, the notice has sparked frustration, confusion, and disappointment over a situation that should never have occurred in the first place.
