Mr Thérésine on the day he celebrated his 100th birthday

Willy Thérésine, affectionately known as ‘daddy’, ‘Papi’, ‘Ton Willy’, or ‘Papa’, passed away in the early hours of Friday October 10 at the age of 101.

Mr Thérésine, who resided at Forêt Noire, Mont Fleuri, celebrated his 100th birthday on April 19, 2024.

He was the oldest Seychellois man.
