Seychelles karting brings excitement to motorsport on and off the track

Following Saturday September 20’s remote-controlled cars fun day for kids and adults alike, Seychelles karting shifted gears into serious racing action.

Since July, the association has been collaborating with Battlegrounds to introduce e-sports specifically Sim Racing under the motorsport umbrella in Seychelles. With guidance from Motorsport South Africa and collaboration from Sim Motorsport Association (SMA) of South Africa, a team of six local sim racers has been testing the Gran Turismo 7 platform in preparation for competitive events. To note that Battlegrounds is an e-sports company which has been hosting e-sports tournaments throughout 2025 and is currently running two e-sports leagues with grand finals scheduled for December 2025.
