Fourth Tropical 5’s Beach Rugby Tournament on Saturday
The Seychelles Rugby Union (SRU) will host its fourth Tropical 5’s Beach Rugby Tournament on Saturday September 20 starting at 8.30am at the Beau Vallon beach.
The touch five-a-side international rugby competition is the second to be organised and it will take place on the beach opposite the Boat House restaurant. It will be contested by six local teams and two international sides. The six local teams are Seychelles men, Seychelles Shear Waters, Johannes Marlins, Pirates, Sharks and Black Parrot, while Moscow University from the Russian Federation and the 2024 defending champions Barrel House from Dubai are the two international sides in the competition. The tournament is being sponsored by Gran Kaz.
