Seychelles takes part in 2nd Africa-Caribbean Community Summit

President Wavel Ramkalawan was represented at the 2nd Africa-Caribbean Community (Caricom) Summit by Ambassador Conrad Mederic, permanent representative of Seychelles to the African Union.

The Summit, which took place on September 7, 2025 at the African Union (AU) headquarters in Addis Ababa, was held under the theme ‘Transcontinental Partnership in Pursuit of Reparatory Justice for Africans and People of African Descent through Reparations’. It was organised in line with the commitments made by the prime ministers of Ethiopia and Barbados respectively, in the margins of the 38th Ordinary Session of the African Union Assembly in February 2025.
