Jules Kandasamy and Bertrand De Charmoy Lablache triumph
Windsurfer Jules Kandasamy and kitesurfer Bertrand De Charmoy Lablache, both hailing from Praslin, are the winners of this year’s Mahé-Praslin crossing.
They were among six windsurfers and five kitesurfers who on September 6, 2025, battled the wind and waves to Praslin. Kandasamy won Saturday’s race in a time of 1 hour 6 minutes 30 seconds (1h.06:30) while De Charmoy Lablache took 1 hour 16 minutes and 46 seconds (1h.16:46) to cross the finish line.
