Traditional dance workshop connects 50 children to their heritage |23 August 2025

As the school holidays get underway, the National Heritage Resource Council organised a special workshop to offer young people an opportunity to connect with their cultural heritage.

The Kanmtole dance workshop, which began in April and is now in its second phase, was a unique opportunity for children to learn and perfect a traditional art form. About 50 children from different parts of Mahé had the chance to learn traditional dances at this workshop, which was held at the Domaine de Val des Près, Au Cap.
