The Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited has officially presented its annual report 2024 to Vice-President Ahmed Afif, who is also the Minister for Finance, National Planning and Trade.
The presentation took place during a brief ceremony last Friday at Liberty House attended by the company’s chairperson, Jennifer Morel, chief executive Sarah Romain, and its director of Legal, Risk & Compliance, Brenda Gobine.
Handing over the printed copy of the report, Ms Morel highlighted Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited’s (Seypec) commitment to transparency, accountability, and robust performance in delivering value to the nation.
She noted that the annual report 2024 reflects the company’s operational achievements, financial performance, and progress in key strategic areas, including energy security, customer service excellence, and sustainability.
As part of the company’s commitment to good governance, Ms Morel also presented a copy of the annual report 2024 to the acting chief executive of the Public Enterprise Monitoring Commission (PEMC), Kalum Bandara.
Ms Morel stressed that this handover underscores Seypec’s alignment with the oversight and performance monitoring framework established for public enterprises in Seychelles.
