Laithiddine El-Yane’s sole goal kicks Seychelles out of the competition
A single goal by Laithiddine El-Yane in the 23rd minute yesterday at Stad Linite was enough to give Mayotte a narrow 1-0 win over Seychelles, thus kicking the hosts out of the football competition counting for the 13th Commission de la Jeunesse et des Sports de l’Océan Indien (CJSOI) Games.
Drawn in group B, alongside Madagascar and Mayotte, Seychelles needed a win yesterday to progress following their 1-2 defeat at the hands of Madagascar in their first group match on Friday.
