New condominium approach to speed up title deeds for flat owners

The Property Management Corporation is currently carrying out an exercise to re-measure several blocks of flats as part of efforts to register them under the Condominium Act.

This initiative aims to enable homeowners to receive their title deeds in a quick and efficient manner.

During a site visit at the Brillant Housing Estate yesterday, the corporation’s customer advocate, Linda Philoe-Bristol, explained that, in the past, residents had to wait for the entire block to complete their payments before they could receive a title deed. However, under the Condominium Act, this is no longer necessary.
