Former Olympian and windsurfer Danny Adeline passes away
The local yachting family is mourning the loss of former Olympian Danny Adeline who passed away on Saturday afternoon following an incident at sea near Praslin.
Adeline, who lived in Côte d’Or, was taking part in a windsurfing competition when he lost consciousness shortly after the fifth race, according to reports received by Sports NATION.
The 62-year-old received cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) after being pulled out of the sea and was transported to the hospital, but ultimately died.
