Perseverance secondary, Plaisance primary shine
Seychelles marked International Shark Awareness Day on Saturday with a colourful educational parade focused on marine conservation and the importance of protecting sharks.
The event, organised by the department of Environment in collaboration with the Save Our Seas Foundation (SOSF) and supported by the Ministry of Education, featured a vibrant parade and a shark-themed costume competition, starting at the International Conference Centre of Seychelles (ICCS) and ending at Gou Notik Restaurant in town. Eighteen schools, including three from Praslin, took part in the event.
