Volleyball: SVF Cup finals Premium Spikers, City Ladies champions |02 December 2019

Premium Spikers and City Ladies are the men’s and women’s champions of this year’s Seychelles Volleyball Federation Cup after claiming the scalp of their opponents on Saturday at the Palais des Sports.

Saturday’s matches were beamed live by the Seychelles Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) TV.

In the women’s match, Cascade were up against City Ladies and their objective was to claim a third title this year, but once again they came up short.

Beaten by Arsu in the women’s division one Land Marine Cup final on November 16, Cascade had a chance to add to their League and Curtain-raiser competition wins but City Ladies had other ideas.

City Ladies won the match 3-1 (25-21, 25-21, 19-25, 25-22) for their first piece of silverware this season.

In the men’s match, Premium Spikers clashed with Neo Boyz once again and they showed that they have the edge over their opponents to win against them for the second time in a fortnight.

Already league and men’s division one Land Marine Cup winners, the players of Didier Dugasse won 3-0 (25-14, 25-20, 25-23) against Neo Boyz who have had to settle for the runners-up spot for a third time this year in the league, Land Marine Cup and SVF Cup.
